Auger Packers
The Auger Packers designed by PSI accurately weigh and fill your choice of container; valve bags, open mouth bags, or drums. These packers can be used on various different products, including powdered, flaked, granular, and pellet. Operating the packers has become an easy task; all the operator must do is load the bag on the spout and push a start button. talled side-by-side with all operating parts accessible from the front or rear.
All Auger Packers have the capacity to fill from 10-250 pounds at about 10 pounds per second, depending on bag valve size and product density. The feed auger is designed to allow for fast and accurate filling. To provide flexibility of our packers for your different products, we have a large variety of delivery augers to best suit the materials packed.
We’ve built our Auger Packers with the durability to withstand the test of time. They’re all constructed with welded steel and cast aluminum components. We also have the option of heat treated accessories that can easily be adapted to reduce wear on the packer when packaging abrasive materials. Our three different packers are:

- Model 280 Allen Bradley Controlled Electronic
- Model 285 Mettler Toledo Controlled Electronic
We have three different Hoppers that offer versatility to the application. Our “V” shaped Hopper is best used for free-flowing products. The RA-5 Hopper is generally used with products that have typical bridging characteristics. And for products with extreme bridging characteristics, we have the RA-7 Hopper.
