Model 200 Mechanical
Our Model 200 Auger Packer is a mechanical packer. This system can fill with rates up to 6 bags per minute with a variation of +/- 6 ounces.
Unlike our electronic packers, the Model 200’s weighing mechanism is maintained by a balance beam with a magnetic reed switch that actuates the cut-off relay at the precise weight every time. The auger reverses just enough to clear material from the spout thereby preventing dribble and spilling when the operator removes the bag.
Another element that makes the Model 200 different is the wide choice of spout sizes. We offer a 3”, 3.5”, 4.5”, 5.25”, 6”, and 6.5” for valve bags. This allows for a wide variety of products with different properties. This packer comes with the option of a 2-speed or variable frequency drive for better weighing accuracy. As is the case with all of our Auger Packers, the Model 200 is available with 3 different models of infeed hoppers depending on product characteristics.
